During Strands of Strength Salon Month throughout October, Des Moines-area salons and stylists are helping cancer patients cover the signs of treatment by making donations and collecting patron contributions. The funds raised go toward purchasing wigs for cancer treatment patients who cannot afford one. Use the registration form below to join the cause of the inaugural Strands of Strength Salon Month.

By joining together to raise the funds needed to purchase wigs, and by working closely with area hospitals and cancer treatment centers to screen recipients, Strands of Strength is, quite literally, saving people's lives.
